Loco Gringo's active message boards are a super resource. There is a board specifically about all inclusive hotels and several several other popular message boards about Mexico, particularly Akumal

Playa Guide has a nice list of all inclusives in the Mayan Riviera and brief descriptions. They also have a Playa del Carmen mesage board.

The message boards by Bill in Tulsa have been around for a while. Your have to scroll past ads to get to the board, but go ahead down.
