What is there?

Puerto Aventuras is on the beach and offers:

• Tennis courts
• 9 hole golf course
• Several dive shops with dive trips to the close Caribbean reefs
• Beautiful marina - both fly and ocean charter fishing, parasailing, sailing cruises of any length
• Cedam Museum - featuring treasure recovered from 18th century shipwrecks
• Dolphin Discovery - swim with trained dolphins e-mail for reservations. They keep them in the marina which is sort of odd considering all the boat fuel and oil there.

Dive University

Some of the boats in Puerto Aventuras will take you out snorkeling. The large dive center has daily ocean and cenote cavern dives and dive training courses for everyone from beginning divers to dive instructors. Sport Fishing - Marlin Heaven

Puerto Aventuras boasts the only full service marina south of Cancun. Long known as the hot spot for sail fish, marlin, wahoo, and dorado. Sport fishermen flock to this small town every year starting around mid April. Puerto Aventuras is located in the heart of the fishing zone, so there is no need to travel an hour before expecting hits.

There are scores of private fishing boats there to see and a few high quality charter operations as well. There is also decent fly fishing available here in Puerto Aventuras.

Puerto Aventuras Fishing has over 15 years experience fishiing in the Mayan Riviera, more than any of the competition. Last year the boat went out on fishing trips almost everyday of the year, and came back empty handed only 25 times.
