Playa del Secreto really is a beautiful beach, but there is no public access. The beach at Playa del Secreto is good for swimming with a gradual slope into the ocean.  Snorkelers can see colorful fish on the reef, as well as the occasional octopus, ray, crab, or even a sea turtle if you are lucky. Sea turtles return to nest at Playa del Secreto from May to October.

Playa del Secreto is a private community of homeowners, with under a dozen homes. Some of the owners do rent out their houses when they are not using them. Casa del Secreto has a pool right on the beach and is one of the nicest places to stay there. The newest addition to this beach community is Hacienda del Secreto. Hacienda del Secreto has 3 luxury villas, each with a private pool. The complex also has facilities to host weddings and parties on the beach.

There are several beachfront homes to rent from Playa del Secreto Vacation Rentals. Large groups can even rent several and make Playa del Secreto into their own small town.
